Many of the best ideas are born out of tragedy. It was a family car accident and the debilitating effects of that accident on a family member that brought the Stong family into the the healthcare arena. Beginning as Certified Nursing Assistants, several of the Stong children provided care for their family's needs. Dennis Stong quickly extended his helping hand in caring for other patients as well. His philosophy of treating people with dignity and respect regardless of the their circumstances soon attracted many other patients to his cause. As his caseload grew, Dennis
knew he had found the career he wanted to pursue. In 1996, Dennis began Harmony Home Health in the basement of his home. Some of the first employees were members of the Stong family who had worked along side hime taking care of the family's medical needs. It was not long before other professionals wanted to be a part of the Harmony story. Today, while the business has grown significantly, the employees still bring the same care and compassion to all of their patients. "Our mission is to impact the lives of everyone we touch in a very meaningful, sincere, and deliberate way, every single day."
